IDLING/RADIATOR STEAM ISSUE

IDLING/RADIATOR STEAM ISSUE
long story short. i was doing some work on my max and took the intake manifold off and had disconnected the throttle body also.
i put everything back together perfectly. when i start the car, it idles high and then revs up and down between lets say 1k-2k rpms.
also my radiator has no leaks but steams up which is not normal.
temperature gauge seems to be fine. it doesn't show signs of overheating at all.
What could be the possible causes of these two issues?
could they be linked together?
possible p0100 and p0505 in-progress.
my maf sensor is brand spanking new.
thanx for any and all advice

Do you have an 02 or 03?
If so, did you mess with the throttle body in any way when taking it off? Move it or clean it? For the 02 and 03, doing this causes the high idle issue. The fix to it is to do the idle relearn.
Look it up on here for high idle issue and you'll find it. Series of pedal steps. Someone called it a pedal dance.

When I was swapping my iacv it was giving same issue - high jumping idle. (1800-2300rpms)
once i put the old iacv back - it was fine...
still running on old one as don't have a time to get it out and drive to mechanic for relearn right away...
Do relearn and tell us if it helps!

read post # 7 in this thread. But also - read the entire thread before doing the relearn.
