it looks like they finally found a donor car for their project.
well, it's the same. you should get the K&N kit if it's only for $90.
it's pretty much the same thing. even the Stillen's cone filter is made by K&N.

Didn't people say that the Stillen Intake only gives power at high end and "steals" hp at the low end

The Maxima intake kit is not listed on K&N's web site. Where did you find this kit?

I have a K&N intake that I "made" my self. I bought a filter and an adapter (which didn't quite fit correctly, so I had to play with it a little). Overall I like it, I love the sound it makes too.

Does it take away from low end?

I didn't notice anything that was lost or gained. It does like to rev faster though.

it takes away little bit from the low end and gives it little bit more in the top end by leaning out the motor..(more air).
but you can always compensate for that later by adding more fuel system.

MAF adapter + K&N filter = $15 adapter + $40 K&N = $90 K&N Filter kit ?
do u have any pics of yours??

The third one used inline air filter and had a 3" pipe to suck air from just below the fuse box on the driver side...kinda like a PR CAI w/o the cut out, and no worries of hydrolocking the motor since the area was well protected.
cool, thanks. so u don't recommend getting the one on ebay???

Didn't you plan on selling a new intake in spring 02'. I currently have a JWT popcharger, would switching to a CAI or intake like you designed(if you decide to sell it) show me any noticable gains. Nice Setup BTW!
