Looking at an 03' Maxima SE

Hey guys I've been shopping for a Maxima for a few weeks now. It seems the few I found around here are silver or tan, not bad colors, just not my first choice.

I just found an 03' white Maxima Se, 94k, auto, w/ alpine deck and usb Ipod plug in. It's at a Honda dealership, and they just took it in. They don't have a price or much info listed about it yet. I did get the salesman to email a few pictures he took. Its looks very clean.

It's a couple hours from my house so I haven't taken a look at it yet.

I was just wondering what a good number to start negotiating at would be, as long as everything checks out.

Yes I've already looked at those.. I'm looking for an experienced Maxima buyer's perspective.

I don't see this thread benefiting anyone. There's no such thing as an experienced Maxima buyer.

:

We have no information soever. I would use the aforementioned sites and remove a couple grand and start from there.

Sorry for being a little abrasive but I have a pet peeve of PW'ing to start useless threads.

I guess I was looking for people that had recently purchased a Maxima, and what they paid, etc.

Wow.

I bought mine last year. 02 6MT SE with all options but navi. Had 115,855 miles on it. Paid $4,400. This was from craigslist. I'd expect you to have to pay more since it's at a dealer and has less miles, but if you can get it for less or equal, great deal.

Make sure you check up on possible problems before buying. I believe the ipod plug in is something put in after. There's a write up on here to do it for pretty cheap. There's usually problems with CD Players if it has bose. Other than that, check for CEL codes. If the light doesn't light up when you turn ignition to ON, have them pull codes using an OBDII scanner.

banks, credit unions and dealers do not base their pricing from KBB, they base it from black book pricing...NADA is the closest thing to black book via pricing
