Oem Flex Section size

well if its not one thing its another.after replacing a defective new strut and a front precat on my replacement 03 i find that the flex section is shot to hell to the point i have alot of exhaust movement and noise.Does anyone know the OE flex section size length and diameter? i dont want a new y pipe until i order some catmans in a few months i just want to replace the flex right now and keep moving.I did do a search but nothing about the OE size in the 250 post. TIA

I've asked a similar question about the size of the stock y-pipe piping and didn't get a response. I'll be under the car tomorrow checking on my PS, and I'll measure that sucker for ya!

Man, I wish you would have posted this earlier this afternoon. I just got done reinstalling and buttoning up my y-pipe with my cat, pre-cat and manifold. Damn timing. Looks like you've got someone to measure it anyway.

well it looked like i needed more then a flex section which im still working on.The main cat was smelling like rotton eggs this weekend so instead of buying a new replacement cat i got a magnaflow full SS 2.5 in/out from amazon for $47 and a pair of vibrant SS flanges for $26 welded them up and all is good.i do have one other problem i need to quiet down this damn Megan exhaust any suggestions? has anyone used a 4" x 28" resonator and cut out the Megan unit? also im still needing the OE flex section size if anyone has it i would like to get it and whatever soulition for the excessive exhaust noise done soon.

TIA
