1st Time Getting Pulled Over!!!!

Sup guys, long time no talk. So it's about 10:30pm and me and maximaracer28 are coming back from the movies. I turn onto Main St. and a ****in Po-Po is in front of me. I turn right on a yellow arrow and I see him in the rearview mirror with his evil strobes...grrrr....

I pull over and curb rash my rim. Police officer starts pointing at me with a flashlight and asks why he pulled me over (WTF dumb *** you pulled me over). Well he told me it was cause of washer nozzles which would be $70.00 fine plus illegal right on red. Well he let me go without a ticket but my *** is scared. Sounds weird to you guys but first time getting pulled over is scary. Guess JDWYER was right, hate to admit it but hey tomorrow car is going back to stock, anyone interested in some nozzle lights? email me!

Get used to it!

Dude, get used to it. I got a ticket last Friday night (132 in a 60) and last Saturday night (53 in a 40). Not making me happy considering the Friday night ticket is going to cost me a fortune! But oh well, my fault....Speeding (my primary reason for the blue lights) is common and soooooo easy to do in the Max. I have just gotten used to it! Use cruise control on the freeway alot more to help curve the lead foot though and it helps me!

I basicly think that those washer nozzle lights are nothing but trouble. A cop can see those with no problem and if he is very bored(which most cops are) he'll stop you over just for the fun of it and f*** you over. When he stops you for that and he sees some more illegal s*** on your car....then there you go again...another ticket

Dixit knows the feeling

so why casue all that trouble ... i say the best thing to do is forget about those blue lights on...even though its nice, becasue you are then most likely to be stopped in matter of days, weeks or months but you know you are gonna get pulled over sometimes

Even though I love modding more than almost anything I try to leave it plain on the outside. Rims are an exception. But I haven't been pulled over yet in this Max (knock on wood). My 3rd gen Max (modded/ trick paint/rims) I got pulled over in VA beach at least once a week until it got stolen. And every time I was nervous as f@#$.

I hate those nozzle lights. They look so crappy and take away from the Maxima. I'm glad they are illegal.

Wrong there partner, I got pulled over for having WHITE ones in MD, remember, I am the one that racked up 8tickets in one day.

ADAMK, I got my stock ones, but It would be best if you hooked up the windshield washer lights to your fog lights so you can switch them on and off,

Yah I think I'm gonna go back to stock in addition to some white led's for all the blue lights I had, it was a phase for me I guess. BTW anyone know where I can get some stock washer nozzles. Also, myne are wired to the parking lights if I snip the cable and wrap it around with electric tape nothing will happen right?

Does anyone know the law for NJ. I think they look cool as h$ll. I'm trying to go with the black with red details on the exterior, but if amber or white are legal I would get those. I don't feel like getting pulled over anymore. Luckly i escaped the cop once and pulled into my friends driveway. I was a close one

what did the cop have to say about that? i got pulled over in PA (i live in VA) for going 74 in a 45 and the cop told me that was an automatic los of my license but he reduced it to 60 in a 45 (i was 18 at the time) and that was only 29 over. are you in any kind of legal **** for that? ive heard speeds like that get jail time? "intent to kill" and stuff like that. its all things ive HEARD so im curious what the cop had to say to you.

A lot of states have different punishments for under-aged drivers, which I don't think would apply to you at age 18, but you never know.

In general, anywhere close to double the speed limit is pushing your luck for a criminal violation (as opposed to a minor speeding ticket).
Once you reach that point you might go to jail and possibly get your license suspended for a predetermined amount of time.

Then again, I've heard of the state patrol giving speeding tickets for people doing 100+ on state highways and calling it good. I mean, who needs to go to jail when it's bad enough when your insurance company gets ahold of your next driving abstract and learns you got nailed for doing 108 mph in a 55 zone???

I'd rather go to jail than pay a bazillion dollars a month for the next 3 years on insurance!

Tony

I don't even see why they should be illegal. I don't think they cause accidents, they only make the car way cooler.

only police cars are allowed to have blue lights on their vehicle and you just arent allowed to have red on the front of the vehicle. so it makes sense if its either one of those colors but im not sure why white or amber ones would be illegal.

In Mass. they have a right to put you in Jail if you pass 25 miles after the speed limit, 25 or 30 i am not really sure but its sucks.
Lets say the speed limit is 65, then if you go 90 then you can get arrested.

so why didn't our hero get arrested for what he says is 132 in a 60? i go about 90 in a 45 twice a day, so I'm not much better, but still, he's doing more than twice over.

Getting pulled over is not so bad. If you're a virgin, it can be an @ss tightening experience. I like meeting the upstanding donut consumers of my community. My taxes pay their salary and I'm just giving them their monies worth.

i dont know about you guys

the piggies up in NH like to pull me over at least 3 times a month, i guess no one wants to belive a 18 year old owns a max. no tickets yet, but plenty of warnings, it is too easy to speed in the max. i dont think NH will arrest you for speeding just fine you and yell at you alot, my friend jerry got pulled over for a 140 in a 65, the cop was so glad he stopped instead of running that he let him go with only a fine for a slower speed and he had to watch a video at the police staation on speeding or something, lucky bas*ard
