security no arming??

my alarm has been arming flawlessly till about last night...

i had pulled the ugly red led and soldered in a pure white led and it has never failed me for a full year...

last night, i got out and locked the car via key fob... never saw the led come on for 15 seconds just flashed like a door was open... i had tried locking the car manually with the key and still no go... wtf gives??

i had did the signal rewire back in dec. 09 and blew a fuse to my signals..
tore the rewire apart and the signals never worked with the security again..

i have searched and searched here and my alldata account...

wtf else do i need to look at???

the security light will continue flashing after hitting the lock/arm button, there is a 'count down' period before the system actually arms.

Did you wait a minute after locking to see if it arms?

Also, you didn't really specify, do the doors actually lock when you push the button or not?

all the doors lock...
once i hit the lock botton and/or use the key to lock the doors, the led stays on constant for about 30 seconds then goes back to flashing...

well thats what it use to do...

at 14 seconds, i use the fob to lock...
instantly the led will stay on for i do believe 30 seconds once it was armed...

tore everything apart, doors, trunk, etc....

line it out that the hood pin is shot...

unplugged it and the alarm is working flawlessly...
