Fixed Armrest.. kind of! (PICS)

Hello guys!

Well.. many of us have been dealing with the broken armrest plastics for the top part of the arm rest.. Today, as I was cleaning my cars upholstery I thought of a way to kinda fix the arm rest..

first i took the arm rest off and the bottom part of it off as well..









Then i took the springs off the hinges (because I think the strength of this springs is what broke the original plastics on the first place.. im not sure bc it was broken since i got the car)





then I removed the mechanism from under the top arm rest to make it lighter and to disable the arm rest lift.



then took of the black plastic part of the top arm rest and screwed it to the original part that held the arm rest..







put it back together..



and this is what you get..
