Still have sulfur smell???????

I posted this once before about smelling sulfur once i hit about 60-65 mph. Most replies were to have my car put on a computer to run for codes and assuming i had a bad O2 sensor. Well after doing just that i was told my car threw no codes and everything was fine. Knock on wood, the car runs good but just has that sulfur smell at higher speeds. Anyone have any ideas or heard of this? Its really starting to frustrate me. Thanks a lot.

Yea that is what i thought right away, but everyone was telling me either my check engine light would have came on or the car would not run normal.

Everyone ?

Many lost their engines due to clogged precats or main cats before they even have the chance to suspect the issue ... If you're lucky enough , you would probably have a CEL ....... Say car would not turn at all ? seriously ?
These forums would be much better if some people stop "dissing" things

If your main cat (under passenger side) was bad, it would not throw a code. There is no O2 sensor to monitor it. Only the two precats are monitored on our cars...

It doesn't matter on the CEL, both of my precats were bad, threw a code never but you can smell that stinky smell the only way you will know for sure is drop your y pipe and take them off to see how they look inside....Good Luck.....engine died at 153k reason dont really know for sure but now 04 engine and no oil burner.....

Sounds crazy but do you get your fuel from the same place every time? If so run the tank down and fill at another station.

Thank you all for your replies. Still not to sure where I should go from here. Maybe drop the pipe and see what we got. Or maybe just buy a new main cat and replace. That might be easier.

Rear cat is four bolts. Don't replace it if you don't need it. Drop it, check it, and let us know the findings. It'll be obvious if the cat is bad. The grid pattern will be distorted or nonexistent.
