Im on vacation in north carola outside asheville. My wife and i were on i25 and the car felt like it shifted to nuetral and back to 4th gear upon acceleration didnt trip a cel but tripped a pending 720 not an actually code no o.d. Lights off or on. After making it back to our cabin 45 mins away. And the code cleared itself. Should i worry about this on my 600 mile trip back to florida?

P0720 is "vehicle speed sensor". I can't connect the code and the shifting problem you described. I suppose start by checking the oil level in the trans. Other than that, I don't know.

 

The way its related is sensor is in the trans and is the ouput shaft bearing speed sensor
