350z clutch question

the reason im asking this is because iv seen both answers... so im lookin into buyin a clutch (southbend) anyway im they dont make one for a the 3.5 max but they do have them for the z, i know ill need a max. throw out bearing

my question : what year z do i need 03-06?
also, what engine the vq35de or the hr ?

350z clutch is better not to be used with Maxima dual mass flywheel...Both of these 2 are sprung objects.......So either you get a solid flywheel+350z clutch OR stock Maxima flywheel + non-spung clutch (OEM or else)

i have a fidanza flywheel waiting for a clutch lol so 03-06 de engine

if anyone knows, what is the difference between de and hr as far as the clutch and or flywheeel

The pressure plate between the DE and the HR looks totally different . Just get a clutch for a DE 350z and and a maxima throw out bearing and you will be fine . I'm running a DE clutch with a solid steel flywheel from south bend clutch . Me lubs it !!!

HR clutch is self adjusting (or something like that lol). It works, as well.
