03 maxima Rear lip & tail light question
hey wassup everyone! Im planning to start working on the rear of the car. I want to do ae lip but i might get the stillen lip & do what this one guy did. My question is now is the tail light of his was it tinted or he opened it & paint them? Picture below I want this same look if anyone know his user name please pm me or something Thanks MEL

The rear bumper is just painted, nothing fancy, looks great in the picture but with all due respect to him (great guy), it looks kind of ghetto in a colour picture and at different angles, as such, I suspect it doesn't look great in person. I was considering this route and decided against it, I planned on using a trim piece to section the different colours, etc

Actually the newb is correct, the tailights are sealed to the trunk using a similar sealant that they use in the headlights. You can't just unbolt them and pull them out, you need to heat up the sealant.

yes there is a sealant that is used and its black. It prevents water from getting in the trunk. From what i've been though already oem/ebay replacement taillight are glued. no HEAT will unseal them i promise you. plz don't do it
