REALLY BAD PROBLEM WITH 2002 MAXIMA

I had a problem with the ignition switch fuse (40amp). the cold air intake touched the starter ground and it kept blowing the fuse. Me, without knowing the CAI was touching, it kept on changing the fuse and tried to get the car started but kept blowing fuses. NOW, the problem is very evident.

The mechanic at work told me that everything that goes through the ignition switch (hot when starting) is related of being blown. Because I tried to get it started several times might have accentuated the problem. During lunch break, ill get the codes checked and will return with the codes and what it looks like. The car revs VERY SLOWLY, and feels like 20hp. Even if I floor it and kick the clutch, it feels like 20hp, smeels gas like crazy. I tried to disconnect the TPS and MAF but the problem is still very present.

I thought the starter is grounded through the engine?? You mean it was touching the hot wire on the starter?

OK, SO I got the three code for the TPS and a code for the MAF, it seems like the spark got the best out the two sensors...

Now, the car starts and revs to 6600rpm stationnary so no fuel cut around 3500rpm. When I get the car out the parking lot and take it for a drive, it seems like the car feels like missing power under 4000rpm.

If it is running fine, and not in fail safe mode, (more than 20hp) then the pre 4000 issue is probably placebo.

The issue for the failsafe was the TPS code. It's happened to me a few times (failsafe).
