Weathertech floor mats

Does anyone have any experience with these?
http://www.weathertech.com/

Are they worth investing in for the winter or would it be just as beneficial to go to Walmart and grab a generic set of rubber mats? Thanks for any help y'all.

I have one in our second car (Mazda P5) and it's sturdy + the elevated edge will contain a big spill better than a regular mat. Not sure I'd pay full price for one though-I bought it used for $20 .

I have a walmart set which I'm actually quite happy with. I think they are the premium or the best. Not sure anymore- all I know is they don't have the cheesy carpet inserts. Anyways, the only problem is that they do slide around a bit, the way to correct that problem is to remove the factory mats and put a hole in the rubber one to lock in place. I don't mind fixing it once in a while though. Hope this helps- I personally believe the weathertechs are overpriced and a waste of money especially if you only plan to use them in the winter.

Noooo way would I pay $100 for a set of floor mats. Just go to Costco or Walmart and grab a set for $40, they fit pretty well even though they're not specifically made for a maxima like those ones are. Yeah you wont get a 10 year warranty but you have to remember its just a piece of rubber that you rest your feet on and they all do the exact same thing.

The good thing about the Weathertech floor mats is that they will last a long time. You could go the cheaper route, and buy some that you cut to fit. However it's your car, and it's your decision on what you choose to do with it.

Weathertech makes a quality product. I bought a set for my wife's Honda CR-V. The front's are perfect. The rear's... not so much. More generic shaped than a perfect fit. But the front's were spot-on. Heavy, thick, durable black rubber, cut to fit.

I appreciate all of the input from all of you. I was at Walmart tonight looking at what they had and I found a really nice, thick, deep set of charcoal colored mats that would suit me nicely. Like some have mentioned, they are pretty expensive for a piece of rubber and considering I'll only be using them for a couple months the Walmart ones should do. Texas winters arent too terribly harsh, if I lived in the north I would deffinitly go with the weathertechs.

Thanks for all of the assistance y'all. It's much appreciated!
