Changing FOG light bulbs - HID or NON

Hey guys,

Im currently running stock fogs...and was looking around to see if i could change them to something else, i honestly think my fogs are USELESS.

I have looked around, and it seems like that a H3 bulb is being used. IF true, can this bulb be used to replace the current bulb ??

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2-H3-...item27bb56febd

Please let me know if anyone has ever changed their bulbs to these or not. I might just end up going real HID too.

I think you can run a 55 watt bulb but you run the risk of melting the housing and or heating up the lens so much if it gets wet or anything it will be easier to crack than they already are.I would just get the 35's they do the job just fine.

-If you want to run HID's you NEED a kit.
-Don't bother with 55w they will cause issues and provide very minimal output differences.

-If you don't want to use a kit, then you CAN'T use HIDs, you NEED a ballast (runs the HID)

Any more confusion, please google/search

will to ditch the stock dull yellowish stock bulbs with nice non hid bulbs like piaa's or silverstars your going to spend the same if not more than an hid kit so your probably just better off going with the hid's.If you don't like the yellow you can get a 4300k or a 6000k kit that is whitish blue but a heck of alot brighter than a regular non hid bulb.

the wiring can handle it, but you will melt the housing from the heat.

Use the Phillips CrystalVision Ultra, they look almost like HID but without the need of get ballasts and wiring job... Just replace them and that's all.
