I only have 6K on my 2001 SE and I have developed an annoying squeak coming the vents above the radio. When I press on the vent housing it stops, but it comes back after I take my finger off. How do I take off the vent to see going on?

 

dont think about doing it yourself. Your car is covered under the wtty...see your dealer...but hurry up, because rattles and other noises are covered til only about 10-15K mi..not sure exactly

 

Are you kidding? If it's one measily squeak I'd fix it myself. To remove the vent above the stereo, just stick your finger in the top vent and pull. Or you can use a screwdriver (cover with cloth) and pry the edges out. Then you can stick a felt pad under the vent to make it fit more securely.
