How fast are those early 90's mustangs with the 5.0 liter....they will kill my 2001 SE Auto right?

Yeah it would probably be pretty funny. I have a friend who has a 88 monte carlo with that same engine in it. the thing fly's and its a auto. those mustangs were a lot ligher than the monte's so it would fly off the line

Your friend put a Ford 302 V8 in his Monte Carlo?

not as fast as you might think. The newer 98+ mustangs have the 4.6, too fast. but the early 90's which you are referring too will run in the low 15's. Really depends on the driver if stick. I ran my 00 v-6 unmodded against a 95 5.0 and beat him in the quarter. I also ran my 01 auto se max against a modded 89 mustang 5.0 and beat him in the quarter. He ran faster, but, slow as $hit off the line, he ran 14.9, and i ran 15.6, but he was, as you can see about .8sec behind me off the line.
could be close, if he is modded, might be a different story.....
