when you start the car, the engine misfires and stumbles. my scanner said its cylinder 3 misfire. which leads me to a bad coil on cylinder 3. but if I began to drive it, I floor it, it starts off stumbling, then it seems to "clear it self out" and then itll run fine. Does that still point to a a bad coil? Cuz I thought once a coils bad, itll remain bad. any ideas or input, I thank you in advance

I just replaced all six of my coils. The #5 was the bad one, but I changed them all anyway. My car would misfire sometimes then ran fine. I would come and go. So yes its possible for the misfire to disappear then reappear. Change the coil and the valve covers if you find oil in the spark plug
