Most likely, its oxygenated gas. That crap kills fuel mileage in the winter...should go back to normal in the spring tho. If your mileage is still bad come springtime, then start worrying.

Your car's going to run rich until it reached operating temperature. As it gets colder outside your going to use a little more gas. Take it on a long trip and I'm sure your mileage will be right where it's supposed to be. Possibly even better with the cold air and fuel mixture.

I'm in INDY also. I haven't been driving much since it has been cold, I'll keep a check on my mileage. I have averaged 330 -310 (also use shell 93), will need to fill up today, but this is after driving to KY and back so it may be a bit higher.

hell, I may see you around town.

going to car show today, hope the G35 (XVL), or new Z !!

later

ok i just took a trip to CHI town. Got excellent mileage. I just got transfered and my new office is only 4 miles away from my house. So i go there in the morning, usually come home for lunch, go back and then come home after work. Yes alot of stop and go, which i am sure screws up my mileage.

After reading the iridium plugs thread, i did some research. Perhaps i need to change my plugs to some sort of plugs that are better for the car, for all the stop and go i do???

Any thoughts/ideas will be greatly appreciated
