speedo not working properly

ok. So i am finishing up swapping engines in my 01. My prohlem is that the speedo is not reading accurately. I know the car gets it speed readings from wheel speed sensors starting in cars from 01 and up. i came across a wire i believe to be a ground that has a ring terminal attached to the body and a single terminal connector on the other end. it is over by the abs unit. it is a single black wire. does anyone know where this plug goes? it has to be on that area because it is only a foot long. i will try to get a picture when i get home. sorry for the bad spelling and grammar. typing on my phone. Thanks.
