3.0 motor mount question.

I need to repalce my motor mounts, im shopping online and the rear one is listed for alot less then the front.

But from what I remeber they are the same ? Or is there something diffrent I didnt notice..

Even in the pictures they show the same mount ...but then again thats just a picture.

Anyone have any input? are they the same by any chance?

Only difference is the front is a Electric mount that you really dont need.Just buy the mounts for a Manual and they fit and their alot cheaper.

I believe he's got a 5spd.

OP - Where are you buying the mounts from? Also, for clarification, are you actually replacing the torque mounts(L&R of the engine, not engine bay)?

Its a 5spd. I just want to replace the two mounts that are on the subframe . Sides are fine. Only reason I'm even replacing the ones on the sub frame is I just installed my stage1 clutch masters kit with 12lb flywheel and the chatter is bad. Polly mounts seem to make it worse I'm thinking of going back to stock.

The F/R are not the same - they're differently shaped. I believe you can get both for about $75-80 for decent aftermarket replacements, + shipping.

They are different other than the fact that Some of them are electric pending whether or not your 5 speed or auto and also the motor mounts fit all from 95-2003
I am actually using 2003 mounts on my 95. no issues

See if its any cheaper to use 95-99 style mounts
