Whenever I go to check my oil guage, it always reads halfway in between L and H. I fill up the oil so it will be near the H, but the next day when I check it again, it goes back to the same place.

 

As long as it stays in between, you should be fine.

 

Did they fix those poopy dipsticks on the 2002 maxima's? Also....why don't they just make a 5 qt sump!!!!

I agree...the dipsticks on the 2000-2001 max's are impossible to read. I never worry about checking my oil between changes though....but in my impala...I check that baby everytime I start it.

 

just check the oil level after the car sits overnight.... it's too tough to get an accurate reading otherwise.
