Oil in intake manifold

Today I did the vias delete with the nwp bop. When I took out the vias it and the inside of the intake manifold wered covered in what looked like oil. I assume this isn't normal, what could be causing this if it is? Should I be very worried?

Put an oil catch can on if you want it to stop

I saw the same thing when I did my BOP, tiny oil puddle inside UIM and some on the surface. Makes me think it shouldn't do any damage, as the excessive oil from the UIM will eventually burn. Meh..

Sorry if it was a "noob" question, but better safe than sorry i say. Thanks for clearing that up, im still learning but am sincerley passionate about this. Im really happy with the BOP, and have my intake spacers to do next which Im excited to do. As I said, im very passionate about my car, doing this myself and (gradually) understanding how and why everything does what it does.
