Both Low Beams Stopped Working

All lights were working fine and then all of a sudden both low beams won't turn on. The high beams work fine. I doubt both bulbs would go out at the same time. Could it be the switch on the steering column or a fuse?

True that! Check the fuse, the bulbs and the headlight/turn signal stalk.........

Pull one of the bulbs and check the low beam filament. I had an alternator on it's way out that surged and it fried both low beams at the same time and one fog light.

There is one fuse for the left headlight and another for the right headlight. So if the fuse blows, you would not have low or high beam for that side. Same comment applies for headlight relays.

I have to think either 2 bulbs or the headlight switch.
