Squeak/Squeal/Tick from Drivers Front.

Squeak/Squeal/Tick from Drivers Front.
I just replaced all of my brakes over the weekend...new rotors and pads. I started to hear a squeak/squeal/tick noise from the drivers side front tire. When i am driving, there is a fast ticking type of noise, sometimes a slight squeak/squeal sound.
When i turn left and put pressure on the drivers side, there is a loud scraping noise...sounds like metal against metal. Not a grinding noise, but more of a nails on a chalkboard noise. It is "choppy"....as of some metal clip is rubbing against something as the wheel spins. Once i straighten the wheel out, the noise stops.
I thought OK it is something rubbing against the brakes...so i took the caliper off, pads and rotors....spun the hub and heard that slight squeak/squeal i mentioned that happens when driving. I was listening around while turning the hub and found the sound coming from the axle boot nearest the transmission.
Now, i thought when the CV joints went bad, they made a clicking noise from the joints separating. There is no clicking noise, groaning noise, grinding noise, etc.
Could it be the CV axle or should i check elsewhere? I was thinking maybe the wheel bearing, but as i said....no grinding noise or loud roaring. No marbles in a can noise.......so i just dont know.

I was thinking something was hitting the brakes....but i took the rotors, pads and caliper off and it still made the squealing noise when i turned the hub. I cant get the front end high enough to hit the gas and spin the wheels to see whats going on.

Sounds good....i am pretty sire it is my axle but i have never heard of it making this type of noise. I have heard of them clicking and grinding but never making a consistent squeal type of noise and a metal to metal scrape noise while putting pressure on it (ie: turning left)
