Broken Battery ground on block
Broken Battery ground on block
I had a bolt break and while drilling it out, the tab broke at the bottom. Where is another place on the engine I can run the ground from the neg terminal on the battery. Thanks so much for the help, hope I can finish this soon. THanks.
Make sure it's clean/sand it down, steel wool, etc.
When I recently installed my ETL, I was having weird intermittent starting problems, even went out and bought a new battery. Turns out, my grounds on that side of the engine compartment were all bad (dirty, mostly), so I cleaned them up really good and have yet to have the same problem.
I bet after work she wont start because of this post

The main problem with the stock location of the ground connection it's the corrosion that comes from the battery when you wash your engine or even with the moisture in the environment. The connection becomes weak and you will experience electrical problems, that's why some people decide to install a ground kit to keep a better ground instead of only clean and sand the stock ground connection.
