2000 SE 5 Speed Flywheel
I've got 190K on my Maxima, and the clutch FINALLY gave out. I was getting various costs and found the flywheel was redesigned. HDoes anyone know what the story is with the redesign?
If the flywheel is able to be resurfaced, should I just do that, or is there a GOOD reason to change it out with this clutch job? Dave B has it for around $240, plus 45 for the new bolts required. Napa has it for like $100, but I'd have to get the ring gear removed and transferred to the other flywheel.
Ideas?

LOL ok now I'm feeling bad for going to Napa to get my clutch. I didn't want to go to the stealership if I could at all avoid it, and as for the other racing applications, I'm never sure which is "best", as there are so many opinions. I've also heard the lighter ones may have some sort of either torque, or low RPM issues, or they slow down too fast because of no weight. Its been forever, so I can't even remember what the issue was with a lighter one..
Thanks all =)
Thanks all =)
