after reading all the acura race postings i was expecting a good run with a red acura cl on the 57 tonight. it was the previous body style, not the rounded rear... plus it was only 2.2
but what the hell, a race is a race
anyhow, if you know the area, the 57 north bound hits major congestion with the 60 merge but the two right lanes are wide open cuz they turn into a ramp for the 60 westbound. acura's in the far right lane and i'm in the lane over, next to all the traffic and a good 4-5 cars ahead of her. we're going about 50 when the car in front of me brakes and turns on his blinkers to merge back into the traffic which is a at a standstill. he was just leapfrogging to the front, so he's completely stopped now and i'm about a quarter mile behind him. i signal left to merge in front of the cl but the chick closes in to deny me. it caught me off guard so i pull back and let her pass since i'm coming up fast on the idiot in front of me. after she goes by she then slows down to 50 again so after i pass the guy, i gun it around him back into my lane and she's going hard now too. there's a truck in her lane in the middle of the ramp ahead so we're both running for the open lane on the left side of the 2 lane ramp and i'm about 3 car lengths back. moderate gas didn't work so i go wot and pull like crazy on her. but she's being pigheaded and it looks like she's gonna ram into the back of the truck so i ease off when i'm only a half length behind and let her merge in front. but she cuts HARD in front of me instead and almost clips my bumper.
whatever. by then i realized what kind of person i was dealing with and it wasn't fun anymore so i just let her go. she had to stop ahead anyway cuz of traffic on the 60w. i pull up even to her to give her a wave and she won't look my way. man, that went from fun to sucky.

 

when was this? i was in rowland heights tonite too..i didn't drive my car today tho. took my dad's Q. hmmm...would have been fun if i had joined this...cat-and-mouse game..

 

i signaled right, not left.

4pm??? dang man...you were in the middle of the freaking traffic!! hmmm...i'll bet it was pretty fun tho, right?

 

no traffic on the ramp. and yeah, lotta fun.
