Cattman Full Exhaust JET HOT Ceramic Polish Coating!!!
OK...I decided to get the entire Cattman exhaust, from the headers to the muffler, ceramic coated by JET HOT. They did a fantastic job! This should help reduce under the hood temps and make the exhaust last even longer with that polished look!!!!
Here are some BEFORE and AFTER PICS to compare:

By the end of this week....full exhaust install, NWP Spacers, Stillen UD Pulley!! Can't wai....I'll keep yall posted!!!

I always thought ceramic coating was supposed to be rough and gritty, to increase the surface area, like a heatsink. This looks more like powdercoating.
Things must have changed since I last saw a ceramic coated set of headers. Likely, too, since that was 25 years ago.

I bought that bed when I was single....so when I got married I told the wife we needed a bigger bed but she said forget it and save for a house. So once we get the house then we will upgrade to the King size.

Either way who gives a poop, you'll have at least 40 more whp with that combo.

40hp NON tuned is pretty good. Not getting a tune until next year. Gonna get rid of the UTEC and go haltech. Still got to get cams, springs, retainers, rod bolts, custom IM, 3.5 SRI with LRMAF....and a 100 shot of NOS!!! Even considering boring and sleeving it out to get 3.8L. We'll see....gonna be a hell of a car when I get done with it!

Did you get yours done by JET HOT? Don't look like the polished silver coating. I know people that have jethot coatings the same as the one I have and its been years and they still are shiny...no dullness or anything.

I just noticed what you had going on in your sig: HP Tokico Blues, Eibach Springs, ES Bushings, Ralco Short Shifter, Front Strut Bar, Rear Sway Bar, Sprint Booster, Spec Stage II Clutch, Fidanza Flywheel, NWP BOP, Custom SRI
Yikes! With exception to a set of coilovers, you're going to be very, very nicely configured.
OP, you should start a progress thread, fill it up with pictures and comments.
With only a half day to do this, that would have to be a pretty motivated mechanic.

Fully coated, 3" exhaust w/headers and a fast-cat... phenolic intake spacers, and an underdrive pulley? That's a pretty impressive one-time list of bolt-ons. Anything else? Do you have a before-dyno to work with?

OH no....LOL. He said probably some time next week because they have other cars they are working on too...AND they have to do the dyno as well. He told me the front headers would be simple....but the headers on the back would be a PITA....BUT he did say since they are going to have to take the lower plenum off to install the spacers that will help with reaching the rear headers. It was funny...because they usually do 350zs and all....he said "What you trying to race Lambos or something?" I said "No, just want to have a fast car." Next year going to get CAMS, springs and retainers and custom IM, and higher rev limit.... I asked him about rod bolts....he told me that you ahve to take the entire engine out because you have to replace bearings and all when you do that because it won't be good to put rod bolts in and same old bearings in. But I seen on here that stock bolts are good for about a 7000 - 7200 rpm with no problems. I think NMEX has his rev limiter that high with no problems.

I agree. I plan on installing my spacers and OBX headers in around half a day but I am optimistic. What's the worst that can happen, I have to spend the night working on my car, not a bad situation. I love doing this stuff. I really seems like the cattmans are the easiest headers to install on our cars due to the perfect fitment so hopefully his car will be done sooner than later. Can't wait to hear about the results.

I see 7100 w/o a problem.

Likely true, and lots of it. Between parts and labor, I'm guessing north of $3000. (Spacers, UDP, Headers, Fast-cat, cat-back, alumni-coating, installation, and who knows what else.)
But "blow" is only one way to look at it. Another is that the OP is making an investment in short-term happiness. And there's nothing wrong with that.

i love car parts inside the house shows how much we love modding our cars, yet I have never seen the parts directly on the bed haha only couches , living room floors, kitchen counters etc.
keep us posted on your impressions. that thing is gonna be beast

this is a very realistic way to put it, because though they may keep the car long term (which most heavy modders don't) these mods in a few years will pretty much be the new normal, let alone the investment of aftermarket mods is not much.
