Would you buy a NWP Dead Pedal?

Would you buy a NWP Dead Pedal?
Simple poll. Stupidly simple product idea. And not at all approved by NWP Engineering. Point in fact, aside from the inevitable positive press about NWP, it's likely Aaron is pretty annoyed by this thread.
But it's all in fun, and well-intentioned.
So... who wants a NWP Dead Pedal?

What? Who cares? If Aaron made a dead pedal, it would be better, and more unique, and it would have the NWP logo in it, which would be very cool.
Quality. Brand Loyalty. Blah blah blah... it's worth more than hacking up the 350z pedal...
...which I already have, btw.

This.

Brake & clutch pedals/pads less important (to me) cuz I already have G35 aluminum pads on my brake and clutch pedals

I'll take your 350z dead pedal if/once/whenever Aaron makes the nwp version

If it came as a whole set. If he makes a dead pedal it won't match the stock or 350z pedals so it would look stupid.. he would have to make all of the pedals for it to actually look good.

Keep in mind, the majority of Maximas out there have black pedal pads. For the 5th gens, only the AE and the 5.5's with HLSD have the cool looking pedals.

Agreed, but many that would bother with a dead pedal mod... already have. It's known that we can modify the Z dead pedal and add the AE pedals.

In 2009, I replaced all my pedals and installed a modified 350Z dead pedal. Back then the prices from CourtesyParts were:
Brake Pad: $25
Clutch Pad: $25
Accelerator (pad-only): $38
350Z Deal Pedal: $30
Just saying, for perspective.

Honestly, John, as cool of a concept as this is, not to be the one to rain on your parade, but I'd love to see Aaron putting his R&D into some more go-fast mods.
Aesthetics are nice. But when there's a company out there developing well-designed, and carefully built engine and suspension modifications, I'd rather see them continue along that path, than stop and worry about how to make the car look prettier.
Not too many major companies make the effort that Aaron does to make sure his performance products are top-notch in every way when they hit the market. A lot of, even big-name aftermarket corporations, can be found to be cutting corners continually, which results in us having to MacGuiver and jerry-rig their aftermarket parts into place.
I guess, really, the point I'm trying to make, is that Aaron's found an awesome niche here on the org, and potentially on other Nissan forums across the board. I'd really hate to see him draw his work away from that in the long run.

As counterpoint, I suggest the obvious, that this thread is entirely whimsical and pointless. We all know Aaron is unlikely to design a dead-pedal, even though it would be a very cool piece of bling... very much like putting his NWP decals on the car somewhere. In fact, there's really not much different between this idea and decals.
So relax, Brett. We're just having some fun, which is worse case. Best case is we convince NWP to design something cool.
Perhaps you should reach out to Racingline and recommend they stop making a branded battery tie-down?

I do understand your concern about being drawn away from his work, but I'm sure Aaron knows what he's doing. I doubt NWP will bail on the Maxima community like Cattman did.

Thanks for all the support everybody. NWP has some pretty awesome designs in the works. I am actively pursuing 8 different designs right now. Some prototypes are being tested right now and some prototypes are being loaded on the CNC machine right now. Those will be ready for testing to start within the next week hopefully if everything goes smoothly.
All the designs we are currently working on are going to improve the engine's HP except for maybe the EGR Block Plate. A lot of R&D goes into every piece to make sure the product is free of defects or flaws before it is released to the public. So it takes a lot of time, money, and effort to make sure every NWP product is thoroughly tested prior to being released.
But simple items such as a dead pedal will not required the same amount of R&D time such as the Thermal Intake Spacers or the Engine Torque Link. So I will easily be able to add a project like this on the side while I continue to concentrate on designing functional performance products.
And since I also realize that a dead pedal would be more of a promotional type product to help advertise for NWP, I should be able to keep the price low as long as I feel there will be demand. I also won't have close to a 1000 hours of R&D time to recoup like I do for the Thermal Intake Spacer Kits. Yes, you read that right, almost a 1000 R&D hours have been logged just for our Thermal Intake Spacer Kits. This is what I do day in and day out; full time. I will not release a product that hasn't been tested completely. I refuse to allow my customers do beta testing for me as some software companies do.

No, I'm kidding. But I know, at the end of the day, this is all in good fun. Although, if I had something such as a dead pedal installed on my car, I'd be terrified of accidentally scuffing up something as nice as I'm sure Aaron could produce.
As far as NWP designing something "cool," well, don't you think most of his products are already pretty spiffy?
Just about every "go fast" company makes something aesthetic. I doubt that something such as a dead pedal will distract him from his R&D of performance parts.
I do understand your concern about being drawn away from his work, but I'm sure Aaron knows what he's doing. I doubt NWP will bail on the Maxima community like Cattman did.
