I did an oil filter change on Thu (I use syn) and decided to top up with some Nissan Ester Oil I have (for the 7th gens and Zs). Two mornings in a row, I did not have that momentary rattle at start-up. I will see how tomorrow morning's goes.

It's obviously an expensive proposition being like $10+/quart (and not even a true ester oil), but has anyone here done a full oil service using this ester oil? Chances are no, but thought I'd ask, and if you did, whether that eliminated the start-up rattle or not (I really hate the sound).
