As for the marketing thing, does NWP Engineering have a blog of some sort by any chance?
I think it'll be neat to have a blog with posts once in a while with teasers of upcoming products or development ideas and all that.
Plus services like Blogger are free with the only cost being time invested to write the posts, and if you have enough traffic you can put up adds with Adsense and make $1 per click! I wouldn't mind clicking a couple ads for the cause!
Sorry for the random post

Bryan, yes it is ok. Since the Economy Spacer material is a softer material than our type of phenolic, it will bend a little while not installed. But, the Spacers have been CNC machined properly with an end mill and they were pressed flat in a jig during the machining process. So once they are installed, they will lay perfectly flat and match up to your stock intake ports.

Use the RTV on those also just dont put a sh1tload so it dont gooze out in the IM...

You can also omit the silicone from the top of the plenum spacer and use the factory gasket. That way you won't have to fight to get it off in the future if you need to service bank 1 plugs, coils, etc.

Just installed mines last night, takes about 3 hours to do, I changed my spark plugs ( NGK ONLY )as well since the plenum was off. You do not reuse the factory gaskets, you get rid of them, just some rtv silicone on all 5 pieces on both sides and you will be straight. If you dont have the block off plate, GET IT, so your setup is complete. Yup!

Just installed the 5 piece economy set last night. I am very pleased with the product. I did get the MIL light after installation, but I followed the instructions for the pedal dance and it went away. Hopefully for good!
Thanks Aaron

Did mine yesterday, along with the VIAS delete.
Very smooth, great instructions included with the product to.
The only issue I had is the fact the previous owner/mechanic (I got her with 100k miles on the clock) has stripped one of the TB screws all to hell so I didn't get the TB spacer installed. That slot was polished smooth and I had neither the time nor tools on hand to remove it. Next weekend I should be able to drop in the TB spacer.
Seeing as I live in the great white north I left the coolant lines going to the TB and the difference in temp between the UIM and Elbow is frankly astounding. I may actually remove it eventually as I live in one of the milder parts of Canada, but for now I'll let it sit.
Timely shipping (and no HST slapped on at the border), good products... a great experience all around. Thanks!

I appreciate it. I haven't officially started a sales thread in the classified section. So that's why I'm not posting too much pricing or sales relating information in this thread. But we have plenty of kits in stock right now.
Thanks again for the bump! Please let me know if you have any questions.

Put my money where my fingers are and finally ordered a set to install when I do my plugs in the next week. Thanks so much for inventing this economy set, Aaron!
PS: Dunno why, but Paypal showed economy USPS vs priority was both $10 to 40205. I picked priority, but then I felt bad. I don't want to be ripping you off or anything, you know?

Well folks I finally did mine and another Org member's and noticed that we both got CEL codes ( I haven't had a CEL since 2004, Which was a faulty Cam sensor!) Anyways I know I was really conservative with the RTV and it still oozed out the mating surface between the UIM and LIM...So I redid the Org member's intake and used a little less and let the RTV somewhat skin up before assembling and it seemed to work out fine.... Now on my 03 I removed everything all the way down to the heads and Decided not to use RTV on the gasket between the heads and the LIM, but rather using a different setup: Oem Gasket > NWP spacer > Oem Gasket....I did this after seeing a intake spacer kit for a SR20 yrs ago that included gaskets for both sides of the spacers thru the entire intake system and I thought it was better and a cleaner install than the RTV method! I had a slight hesitation when I used the RTV because the RTV oozed out and was interfering with my fuel injector spray pattern which gave me a code! I used the gasket/spacer/gasket setup on both the elbow and TB as well! Now for the LIM and UIM mating surface.....I noticed how tight of a squeeze it put on the RTV and decided to use spray on Copper sealant and It worked out perfectly leaving a small thin trace of sealant it oozed out from between the mating line....as for my Opinion of the NWP spacer kit it's noticeable peppier throughout the entire RPM band.....I also installed my new Oem Coilpack units (6), NGK Iridium Spark Plugs (6), and new 6th gen V/C's for the front and rear! I had no leaking rear V/C issues by the way and I've clocked 135K on my 03 now.....

For the record, the spacers actually are that smooth. I thought these images scattered around the forum were photoshopped demos of what the pieces would/should look like. Nope, the finished product is smooth as glass. Perfect CNC work, indeed.
So, people, please give Aaron more money so he can keep making more stuff. You won't regret it.

I'm really impressed with the added torque to the entire rpm band...I'm waiting for my Wifey to drive the "03" and return home with "Eyes Wideopen" ....she'll notice the peppiness and more than likely ask what I did to the the Car?
