Want a YELLOW or BLUE output H3, recommendations?

Yes you heard me right, I am sick and tired of buying these cheap "Xenon" H3 bulbs that claim to have the color like HIDs, when they dont, I have the 2k2 HIDs and NOTHING matches them. I have tried over 5 brands now.

Now I am sooo ****ed, I only want either a Pis-Yellow color or a STRAIGHT up blue color.

Stipulations, I aint paying more than $25 for the pair, I dont believe in paying $70 for a pair of bulbs that might burn out in two weeks.

Help me out here and possibly the other 2k2 HID people.

I agree, its really hard to match the color of our HIDs. BTW I think its illegal to have "BLUE" lights on the exterior of your car, I think someone said this week that the color is reserved for police & emergency vehicles only!

Yellow ... PIAA Ion Yellow H3's. They are going to be more than $25 for the pair, but still very nice output. That's what I have. I had them with Panasonic HID kits, and now my 2k2 HID's.

I got both the assemblies for $500 shipped and then the wiring and connectors for $65. Pretty good deal I thought.

I would love to see the 6000K kit! I am hoping that those burners can work on the 2k2 assemblies. Right now, I am just wanting to sell the panasonic kit, or if I get a mod bug again ... use the kit for my fogs.

actually, if I can figure out a way to get the fogs to stay on all the time (turn on w/o lights and stay on with brights) ... I will then adapt the H4 panasonic kit for the fogs. Just gotta find the time or someone to point me in the right direction.

can these bulbs ," PIAA Ion Yellow H3's.", fit my car 2001? I seen a maxima the other night with yellow H3,s dunno the brand, but they look really nice. At first i was fooled that it was an IS300 coming from behind. I want these bulbs on my car. how many watts are they? i kno mine should be not more than 55w..

Raybrig White Thunder

Great color to match HID's. I actually have the Magnum White's in my fogs, but the H4 White Thunders are nice...had them in my headlamps pre-HID installation.

Of course, considering the H4's have a $119.95 MSRP, I'd imagine the H3's aren't going to come cheap.

PIAA Plasma Blue

Wow, another thread resurrected after six months.

Deven2kStickMax: Yes, the PIAA Ion Yellow H3's wil fit your 2K1.

I have the Plasma Blues and they are as close as anything else to my Panasonic HIDs. They match the 2K2 HIDs pretty well also.

Are the APC Ultra Whites any good? They sell em for 35 bucks at Murrays. I have PIAA Super Plasma GT H4s and PIAA Ion Crystal H3s.
