greddy exhaust n y pipe

i have a greddy exhaust now and it sounds great. i was wondering if i add a y pipe, would it make the car sound louder? if so..by how much?

Damn I just removed my resonator and I thought that was loud.. I'm in trouble when I install my Y-Pipe

whoaa...thats niceee. because i used to have a hayame exhaust only, and it sounded great. but after i put on the greddy it seemed a lot toned down. now im gonna order a y pipe

what i like about my exhaust is that it doesn't give u that rice(Honda) exhaust note...it's just deep, resonating tone...that sets off alot of car alarms in the neighborhood...

Hey Irvine78, did you replace the resonator with some custom mendrel pipe ? Since I am about to install a Cattman Y-Pipe ( on the way ) and a new Muffler should I get rid of the resonator and replace it with some custom mendrel pipe, what do you think of that set-up ?

i have a GReddy catback...it comes with the b-pipe with their own resonator...

Hey bro, what's up ? Thanks for your input. it's good to know, cuz I dont want my set-up to be too loud, so I will keep the resonator. no shop will do it for you since it is illegal. Take a hammer and a long screwdriver. Stick the scredriver in the cat against the material inside and start whacking it away.

i wouldn't say 'no' shops...but very few shops are willing to do this...it's a up to $20,000 in fine...
