ABS and Battery light flashing?

Started the maxima up the other day After a minute of warming up the ABS and battery light began to flash sporatically. My radar also began to say high voltage. Needless to say i shut it off and left it for a day. Went back and i had no problems since. So the question is WTF happened?

Alternator is the culprit, charging issues. Battery/brake light come on to indicate a low or high charge, in this case sounds like it's overcharging. You need an alternator (regulator)

Same thing happened to me as well not that long ago, and it's the alternator.

Cold weather wreaks havoc on the electrical system. Batteries are dying left and right. have it checked out before you replace parts.
