Suspension Question???

I know this has problably been hammered into the ground for this 5th gen board, but I am a 4th gen guy asking a question for my brother with a 20th anniversary 5th. He was talking about how squishy the suspension is in his car and wanted to do something to it to tighten it up. I know springs are the first thing everybody will say, but hold on. He is about 40 and isn't really into the car scene. He wants it to be tighter in corners, but not look any different. I told him I thought a front strut brace and the rear anti-sway bar would solve the problem, but theat I would ask you guys. He said he might go for the springs if it didn't look too different. I have Eibachs on mine and he didn't even notice. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I think RSB and FSTB will reduce the body roll and give the car better handling characteristics. Springs will lower the car and center of gravity a bit also effecting handling, you really need to invest in good struts, (KYB or Koni's) to really complete the package. At about $200+ for springs and close to $500 for struts, the RSB and FSTB are the best first start. I like the Stillen RSB over the Addco and for FSTB, The Courtesy one will save him a few bucks.

FSTB and RSB will do the trick...

No doubt...not the springs...first do the FSTB and see if he's happy (easy install and no mess). If he's still yearning for a tighter suspension, get under the car and put that RSB on and he'll be happy.

Thanks guys. That's pretty much what I figured.

yeah he will love the RSB and FSTB, with springs he will notice the height difference outside and will notice inside when he is driving

I highly recommend getting the FSTB and the RSB. Two of the best "bangs for the buck"
