electric cutout install

just wanted to show off some pics of my christmas present!

jegs 2.5 electric cutout, going for the most power on a budget. 150 for everything needed

i mounted the switch for the electric cutout in place where the auto seat switch originally sits, if you have the meridean edition, its the.switch by the heated switch button. looks very factory and even lights up at night time.l!

sound clip comin soon!
my car has the factory catback and cutout was replaced where the main cat was, by far more tq/power with the cutout open. installs in less that an hour and my new fav mod on the car. i love being able to ride in silence no change rattling no drone, then with it open it sounds loud and dirty, but a good dirty at WOT lol!
flame/feedback welcome! oh yeah a few recent pics of my maxima

dropped it

Sick bro, titanium edition, meridian just like me! My car came with a raceland cutout, it came with two remotes. It was awesome til I hit a pothole and the cutout motor broke :'(

Nice. So it was the correct length and the flanges lined up?

Edit: forget it. I just saw the pic and there are no flanges.

im guessing he had to carefully weld the cutout to the pipe to make it the right length and for the flanges to line up also

i think this is aarons.setup, i kinda copied this.

Yea, you can weld or boltup the actual electric cutout. Just be careful of where you mount it so you dont bottom out and break it off.

So if I bought an ebay test pipe and the cutout. I could craft my own pipe just to put.in and bolt it up thinking bout doing the same thing. Sounds like a sweet mod

Where does one purchase this? Im extremely interested in this, Way better than paying for an entire exhaust system.

I'm sure www.summitracing.com has something similar.
