Help in troubleshooting ABS light ON

I need help in troubleshooting ABS sensors.

I have constant ABS light ON, its annoying I want to get it fixed.

I bought an expensive OBD reader ( Actron cp9580), it suppose to read

ABS codes

it trun out to be that it only reads Domestic mades. So now I am back to

square 1. Is there a way to find out which ABS sensor is bad ? . I am out of

options. Any help any idea is welcome. Thanks in advance.

use an ohm meter in each of the wheel sensors ,,there are 4 and three readings should be the same and one isn t so that s the bad one and replace it, i did that to my maxima se ,,,there are plugs on each sensor and unplug it to get an ohm reading ,,if there s a short or open circuit,,it s defective..

The factory service manual states how to pull abs code from the module. Look into that.

I too have this ****ty problem. I took the abs sensors off to replace the rear end, not realizing that I had a rear end without ABS. so I put the old rear end back in and now I have an ABS light. I wonder if it has to be calibrated to the hub or something.

My ABS light was on for about A month, and one day I decided to go to A mechanic to have the code read to find out what the problem was cause autozone did'int read those type of codes....well he told me he wanted $45 to check it and I said forget it. So the other day I go for an oil change,I do it myself most the time but was lazy and spent the $15 bucks, reason so cheap I provided my own oil.....so im under the car as hes doing my oil change and said let me look at these darn sensors and notice A wire hanging loose from one of them and told the mechanic to attach it to the other for ten bucks more and after starting my car my Abs light was gone. So A 195 dollar job(new sensor plus labor)and code check too if I paid, turned into A 10 job lol. Hope this might help somebody.

This.
Ohmeter to sensor, slowly turn wheel. Readings jump with trigger teeth.
