Hey guys just swapped out the factory glove box light with a 12" strip light from vleds.com

Its insanely bright so I had to share

Yeah I think the 6 inch would have been more than enough.

That looks very clean!!! Do you just splice the wires onto the light that's in the glove box???

Also how about if you were put that in the front near your legs. How would you use the led strip to work with the doors (closed door- off, open doors- leds on)??

I'm usually not so confident in doing it unless I see a picture or video of how a person did it. Just me.

you would just put an led strip in the door panel where the existing light is. You can get led's with adapters to fit the various OEM sockets

That strip might be a great trunk light.

Very nice, you can actually find something inside that glove box ... makes me wonder just what Nissan was thinking when then designed the interior lighting, maps lights are too dull, display cluster is way under illumination, cosmetic lighting way to dull. It seems that just about everyone feels the same about the interior lighting as it seems to be one of the first things we all go after to improve on.

Wire it to the dome light. You'd probably need to use a relay. The wires can be found at the SECU(drivers side towards middle under dash) or the drivers A pillar.

Or do what I did and wire in a 24 smd strip under the door so it shines out on the ground when you open the door just splice it into the doors 194 looks great
