Starting Trouble

Happens mostly in the cold. Tries to crank but can't, starts up normal the 2nd or 3rd try. No CEL. Replaced the crank sensor last month so it's not that. Battery's a year old DieHard.
Any ideas?

Sorry I can't help you but mine does something kind of like that 2. When I start it up and it is cold outside. It will start up but then it seems like it wants to die out. It happens especially when it is cold outside paired with me trying to start it up with the heater on.

Run a ground wire off the transmission right to the negative on the battery. Use a good quality wire and connectors.

Tried it today and so far it starts first try every time. Hopefully that fixed it, thanks so much!

It sounds like the fuel rails are not getting primed. Try to turn the key to the on position, and wait 5 seconds before trying to start it. If it starts up, then its a fuel issue. Try replacing fuel filter
