Greasing the locks

When it is really cold outside sometimes my locks don't want to open. They just make this URCHHHHH!!!!! or ERRRRCHHHH!!!! noise. It is quite embarrasing. But how do I grease the locks? I was lookin' at them the other day and it seemed kinda hard to get to. Do I have to take the door panel off? Or do I just jam some grease right into the lock? Can I use wd-40 or vaseline? Let me know bro's.

lock-ease which has graphite in liquid suspension. You should be able to find it an your local auto parts store. Don't use WD-40 on the lock.

Finally A REPLY!!!!!!!11 I'll give that a whirl. Thanks for your help! I don't know what it is. I only have problems with them in extreme cold. But that's how my starter was before it went out and it's kinda scaring me.

Typically happens after a few years of rust proofing the car. TYhe rust proffing oil gets sticky and dirty and it jams the system.

To get rid of that I had to take my door apart and clean all rods and hinges with brake cleaner and relube with silicone lube. It now work as new. And I took the opportunity to place some adhesive foam to resolve some rattles.
