Which Control Arm to get? (brands)

So i bent my left control arm in my accident and now im debating which brand control arm to get. Should i get a napa one for 130, autozone for about 100 w/ lifetime warranty, ebay for like 50 or 60 or their lil kits with tie rods and control arms for 120?

who's used what? on rock auto theres a few ranging from 60 to 120..

I'd go oem. From DaveB they were around $135-140 each IIRC. Had the FCPImport ones and made my steering seem funny (even after trimming some of the metal off that was rubbing). Completely different once I threw the oem's on.

I agree, or just run to the local junk yard see if you can find one and may be change the bushings

If Napa has it for $130, then go OEM, just finished doing mine today, $137 each.

+1. Just installed some OEM control arms on my 4th gen that I got from Dave B. OEM is the way to go.

Like i've said before many times.

Used OEM control arms
Brand new bushings from ES
New Ball Joints
New End Links
ES End Link Bushings
New Sway Bar Bushings

All of that will equate to a tight responsive front end on par with the newest of new family sedans.

We both know this but shockandawe aka crashnburn gonna come in here and slander it all.oan i used the fcp control arms last time and changed everything on them to es and moog the reason i liked the cheaper control arm is because where the endlink bolted to the arm was a round hole and not a oval hole like the oem has which help to eliminate one of the clunking noises we get from suspension travel.

thanks for the shout out. I dont personally know about the quality of these kits, I could be totally wrong and they are made by the same damn compnay that makes the OEM's but cut the middle out and can offer at a cheaper price. All I know is you can get an OEM for a little over $120 just about everywhere so why go cheap?

is meyle your oem for the 5th gen? i sent you a pm before, but i'd obviously much rather go oem since i don't want to cheap out on my build. any idea one price / when you may have a kit avail?

We typically go by the good better best scenario. That be said Meyle is our better option while an OEM would be our best option. PM me your info and I will get you OEM arm quote.
