2K2 Stereo

Hey guys, you know how 2K2 have a feature that will automatically turn up the volume of the stereo when the wind noise reaches a certain level. THAT THING IS SOOOOO FREAKING ANNOYING. is there anyway that it can be disable? if yes, do you guys think dealer will do it? for free?

Hit the Audio button to go through the options to 'SCV' and turn it off.

You do it yourself. Just cycle through the Audio settings until you get to SCV (Speed Control Volume) and use the down arrow until it is off.

Hehe ... I read almost the whole manual the night I brought the car home. But I haven't really noticed the SCV effect ... maybe that's the whole point though. I have mine set at "mid" and it hasn't been annoying at all going from low to high speeds or anything.

Nissan use offer this back in the mid 80's on the 300zx and Maxima, they called it somethig else then. Boy things seem to die and come back at Nissan alot.

It is actually called Speed Volume Control (SVC), and you can access it by pressing the AUDIO button on your stereo about 5 times. You can set the SVC to OFF, LOW, MID, or HIGH. I keep mine on low, but I also have a 600W amp with dual 15" subwoofers in the trunk, so I can really tell the difference.

Hope it helps.
