Car Wash on Long Island

I'm looking for a car wash on Long Island where the guys with their dirty towels don't dry off your car. I'm pretty sure that about 95% of the scratches in my paint are from these morons. A few years ago, all the car washes blew off the water but now they've got people drying it off by hand. I'm trying to find one where they still just blow it off. Does anybody know a good one?

I find just washing the car myslef, I get a much better shine. Car wash's are prone to scratch's especially from the hard bristels they use

I agree, but some people may not have the means or time to do it themselves. As for a car wash, there is a place on Hillside Ave and Denton Ave that does a decent job.

The one's in Queens have the blowers and the mexicans with towels.. If it's the same in LI, just tell them not to towle dry or you can just ask them for a towel and dry it yourself!!!

The "hand wash" on Hillside was polite enough to scratch the hell out of my roof.. there was some bird misc stuck on.. and it ripped a nice scratch in the nice soft Nissan paint..

Oh wait.. did I mention I saw them spraying paint thinner on my rear panel to remove some misc dirt?

I rather have the car dirty than take it to the carwashes around Mineola anymore.

There is a decent place in Smithtown near the Saturn dealership.. I think it is called "Touch of Class". You do have to sort of .. well. stand over them though.

I live right down the road from Touch of Class. They're really no better than the rest of them. I just want one where no one can lay a hand on my car.
