Do you guys know how many channels we have for lock and unlock. I was told that we actually only have one and that the keypad lock and unlock send out the same signal.

The reason I'm asking is that I got an aftermarket remote starter and they put the lock/unlock as one button. But I'd rather have unlock and lock as two separate buttons like the OE keypad.

 

That couldn't be true or double-pressing the unlock button would relock the doors instead of unlocking the passenger and rear doors. In addition, double-pressing the lock button would unlock at least the driver's door which it does not. They must be different frequencies.
