I do not believe they will. I just installed the UR UDP a couple weeks ago an in my shopping there seemed to be different models which are specific to motor, ie 4th and 5th gen are interchangeable but 5.5 needs a different one. This is probably true for 3rd gen as well. With that said, there are plenty of 5.5 gen UDPs available so you should be able to find a specific one easily enough.

That is my understanding as well. That is the only difference. Just make sure that back timing ring will unbolt. Everyone I have seen does. So, they are interchangeable in the sense you remove the ring for the 3.5 engine and re-install the ring for the 3.0. If you look at even the UDP that don't have the ring, typically they still have the bolt holes in the back that would otherwise secure it.

It will fit, its what all the VQ35 swapped cars do. But im not to sure about the differences in the belts etc. VQ30 cars vs 5.5,6th etc.
