Last summer when me and the g/f were up in Staten Island, I felt like I should have brought a truck instead of my Max those roads are so bad. I was nervous enough driving through there with my stock off road suspension package... I couldn't imagine driving anywhere in NYC slammed!

lol. the roads are so bad but some of the lowest daily driven cars regardless of the chassis come from NY.

I think the funniest thing I saw a few years ago was when agi (slammed q45 with Bentley gt headlights) was cruising at like 35mph on the highway holding up traffic on the way to a meet cause he refused to air up his bags and raise the car. lol.

Well I see that you're tucking in tire so that qualifies as that low.

Garages in NYC stay busy since their roads are so sh1tty... Cars there take a beating from hell. Worn out ball joints, bushings, tie rods, shocks & struts, constant alignments, brakes and tires. If I were to open a business in NYC, it would be a garage.

That small puddle of water at the bottom of the pic looks like it could be a 6 inch deep rim eating pothole.

The functionality of being slammed is debatable....I may not be able to drive on every road but dusted cars with nearly twice my power on the corners of certain highways...to each his own

I'm not just dumped to the ground and that's it a$$hole ....I have front+rear strut bars...rear sway bar...Es bushings etc...you think it's all there because it looks pretty?...you're really trying to argue with me that a sensible low center of gravity + added mods don't result in better handling?....there's a difference between just slamming to the floor and actually being functionally low...hence why I said its debatable

The suspension geometry gets all out of whack when you go much more than a 2.2" drop depending on the gen obviously. The center of gravity matters but when its too low other components suffer. I used to be slammed too but then I wanted to keep my Raxles in shape so I raised her up. It surely doesnt handle worse than it did at stock height dont get me wrong, but take it to a track and do some quick turns left then right and all over again and youll see that being too low, on our cars, isnt doing any good. Theres a certain sweet spot

That's essentially what I was trying to say tho....not once did I say "slam to the floor=race car"...there's a science behind it all..not just maxing out your coilovers...it took me a while to find a height that was almost as low as i wanted but not retarded low that i would be bottoming out or cant control the car and even then id admit at my current height I would definitely be doing more harm than good if I went on a track but a on public highway doing everyday driving it's more than useful
