Your mileage is recorded on your bcm not the cluster itself so replacing your cluster with a new or used one will not change mileage at all also the temp leds prolly just burnt out you can just solder new ones into there

^^^^^^mileage is not stored on bcm on 5th gens its stored on the cluster its self , i have changed my cluster 2 times and came up with the milage from the cluster

+1
Mileage is stored on the cluster itself

My guess is getting it reprogrammed at a dealership with your current mileage or maybe theres a way to take it apart and change the necessary parts, hopefully someone can chime in on that idea

Needs to be programmed or IIRC soldering is involved.

The bulbs on the HVAC can be replaced. No soldering necessary.

there is a chip on the on cluster circuit board that records the mileage...get another working cluster remove the chip and solder it on the new circuit board and you will have saved your mileage...tunermaxima has photos on the org of this chip and its location
