Fog light glass stained?

ok well i had piaa yellow fog light bulbs in my fogs for almost a month and a half i put 5000k hids and they have a yellowish tint now. The fogs were brand new when i put the yellow bulbs in. Is there anyway the yellow bulbs could have stained the glass?? The company that sold me the hids say thats whats wrong ant refund my money.

The HIDs most likely got really hot and burned the lens.

I think part of the PIAA bulbs (the coating to give them that yellow color) probably flaked off any is in the fog housing, giving your 5000K bulbs a yellow hue.

To assure what I'm saying, hook up the HIDs but don't insert them into the housings. Turn them on and make sure they give that pure white output. Test both bulbs and both ballasts.
