It's located under the driverside.. I think it's a 19mm bolt.. Went through 2 flushes when changing my VB..

i just had it done. i don't know what experience you've got, but i've got none with that type of work. i was gonna just drain and fill with a buddy but i ran late and just took it into jiffy lube. they flush that thing out and refill it. we started with 12 (quarts?). the fluid coming out was black till about 9 quarts when it went bright red. they kept going to the end so i ended up with about 3 quarts of clean fluid flushing it out and ~9 quarts clean fluid in. i'm pretty happy with it and since i watched it, i'm sure i've got clean stuff all thru the tranny now.
unless you've got a way other than just letting it drain and drip to empty out the old atf, i'd recommend you take it in for the flush. otherwise you'll just mix the new with some of the old stuff left behind in the lines or cooler (if you've got one). considering you don't have to do it that often, i figure it's worth the cost.

no.... They can not void your warranty on that basis. As far as I know, we use regular old tranny fluid... nothing special. I know Hondas use specific fluids, but that's besides the point.

For one, don't drain 3 quarts thru because you're not going to empty the crankcase which holds a few quarts already. Two, use Mobli 1 ATF, it's the best on the shelf. Three, takes about 5 1/2 Q's. Hope this helps.
