Shifter Cable Trouble

My shifter cable is popping out of the bracket I was wondering if there was an way to secure it. I'm not sure if just a small piece broke off or if I need a whole new bracket. Pics are below.

Search the 5th gen forum for the phrase "shifter bracket".

It looks like you're missing the c-clamp, but I don't have my car anymore to just go out to the garage and eyeball things.

Thanks man I saw that thread but in the pictures of the 6th gen bracket it looks open as well I'm confused as if the clamp would come with the new bracket or if buying the whole new bracket would do nothing for me

It's a u shaped piece of steel very similar to the ones that hold the brake soft lines to the shocks on the car. You should be able to get just the clip separately.

Looking at that diagram, doesnt it look like the clamp would be part #36406x?
